Visit Jallo Forest park. This Park is 28 km from Lahore. It can be visited by road and by rail. A rail-car leaves for Jallo Railway Station offer every half an hour. Drive to Sheikhupura Hiran Minar. To cross the River Ravi from Saghian Bridge to go to Sheikhupura in the sub way of Lahore you will pass through the flower nurseries. Also, along the road has come up a Flower Market near Saghian Bridge. After turning on Sheikhupura-Sargodha Road from the Chowk where a beautiful replica of Hiran Minar (The Deer Tower) has been made, you drive along the bumpy two-way road lined up on both sides with smoke emitting factories of different kinds: fabrics, chemicals, glass, and paper pulp. At places the pungent whiff reminds as if one is driving on Grand Trunk Road near Kala Shah Kaku. Wall chalking, religious and or commercial slogans.

Arrival Hiran Minar and visit to Hiran Minar,Park, & Baradari. Hiran Minar, built by the Emperor Jahangir in the 16th Century for a beloved antelope. Its foundation was laid during the Mughal Emperor Jahangir’s reign 1605-1627. Sheikhupura was the Royal Hunting Ground. The current Tall Minar was built by Jahangir for his favourite antelope “Mansraaj” under Sikander Moin [1015-1607], as written in Tuzk-e-Jahangiri”.The gravestone as per Jahangir’s instruction was built in the shape of an antelope and the epitaph written by Mullah Mohammed Hussain Kashmiri.……‘ In this beautiful & healthful place, God-thirsty Nuruddin Jahangir captured a deer; in one month the deer left his jungle habits and soon became the king of the Royal Deer.’Long & Broad [ 890ft x 750ft wide ] – in between a Baradari [ an Octagonal Pavilion with beautiful painted frescoes ] in 1620 was constructed 13 years after the Minar was built by the architect IRadat Khan . Later as per Shah Jehan’s instructions in 1638, major changes were made to these structures. The cost of these buildings was Rs. 80,000 in those days …..”]

Visit Jahangir Tomb Emperor Jahangir died in 1627AD on his way back from Kashmir to Lahore. According to his wish, he was buried in the spacious garden “Dilkusha” (1538×1538 feet) of his wife queen Noor Jehan at Shahdara on the banks of river Ravi. It has a majestic structure made of red sand stone and marble. An entrance to the right leads one into a beautiful Mongul garden with exact Geometrical patterns balancing each side. The marble tomb is the resting place of the Emperor and is approached from four corridors leading from the garden.

Visit Badshahi Mosque, Shahi Qilla. Badshahi mosque was built under the patronage of the sixth Mughal Emperor, Aurangzeb Alamgir. It was completed in 1673 under the supervision of Aurangzeb’s foster brother Muzaffar Hussain (also known as Fidaie Khan Koka) who was appointed governor of Lahore in May 1671 and held this post until 1675. He was also Master of Ordnance to the emperor. It was the largest mosque in the world for a long time. The interior has rich embellishment in stucco tracery (Manbatkari) and paneling with a fresco touch, all in bold relief, as well as marble inlay. The exterior is decorated with stone carving as well as marble inlay on red sandstone, especially of loti form motifs in bold relief. The embellishment has Indo-Greek, Central Asian and Indian architectural influence both in technique and motifs. Lahore Fort is located adjacent to Walled City of Lahore and right in front of Badshahi Mosque. Origin of fort is believed to be even before the conquest of Lahore by Mahmood of Ghazni in 1021 AD. In 1981, the fort was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a huge architectural masterpiece measuring 1,400 feet long and 1,115 feet wide.

Drive to Shalimar Garden and visit Shalimar Garden is three miles east of Lahore. The famous Shalimar Gardens laid out by the Mughal Eperor Shah-Jehan in 1642 A.D. The Gardens are spread out in typical Mughal style and are surrounded by high walls with watch-towers at the four corners. Originally, the gardens were spread over seven ascending terraces, but only three remain now which cover an area of about 42 acres. The brick-work of the floors of the three terraces has been repaired according to their original designs which differ on all three terraces. There is a marble pavilion under which water flows and cascades down over a carved, marble slab creating a water-fall effect. Across the water-fall is a marble throne. At the end of the second terrace is a beautiful structure called Sawan Bhadon, a sunken tank niches on its three sides. Water cascades down from it in sheets in front of the niches, producing the sound of falling rain.

Take a leisure stroll through pine forests or hike the many trails.  For the more exploratory souls take a long trek to Mushkpuri 2,800 meters high or for the even more adventuresome trek 6 to 7 hours both ways, on a path that leads to Miranjani Hill 2,960 meters high. After breakfast drive to Patriata and enjoy the ride to Chair Lift which takes you up 10,000 Meters high. You can watch the adventurous scene while sitting over the Chair Lift which has its 2 portion of lifts 1st is the Chair Lift and after that you ride a cable car lift which takes you up highest point of the Patriata.Then drive to Bhurban to take High Tea in Pearl Continental Hotel and enjoy the golf club as well in the sight of evening. Stay over night to Murree hotel.
